Voter. Voting. Voted! Preparing for the 2026 elections in the US and Israel

With consequential elections on the horizon in both the United States and Israel, the stakes for gender equity, women’s rights, and democracy are higher than ever. In the United States, discriminatory voter ID laws and other attacks on voting rights continue to disproportionately impact women and other marginalized groups. In Israel, women remain vastly underrepresented in the Knesset while proposed legislation threatens to deepen gender segregation and roll back decades of progress for women’s rights.

Join Yael Yechieli, Founder and CEO of the 5050 Initiative; Celina Stewart, League of Women Voters CEO; Jody Rabhan, NCJW CEO; and Kalela Lancaster, NCJW Israel Director; for a critical conversation on the elections in both countries. Together, they will examine what’s at stake in these elections for democracy, gender equity, and women’s political participation in both countries.
